· About Sign Sail

We got tired of watching small businesses pay too much for a signature.

The short version

We got tired of watching small studios, clinics, and event organizers choose between two bad options: rig a Google Form to a PDF generator and hope it holds up in court, or pay $40 a seat for an enterprise e-signature account they'd use twice a quarter. Sign Sail is the tool in the middle: a proper drag-and-drop form builder, legally binding e-signatures with an ESIGN-grade audit trail, QR codes for in-person workflows, and a price that makes sense for the people who actually send under a thousand signatures a month.

What Sign Sail is

A form builder with e-signatures and a signed-PDF audit trail baked in. You compose a form in a visual editor, share it via URL or QR code, and every submission arrives in your dashboard with a SHA-256-hashed audit page that holds up the same way the big platforms do: ESIGN (US), UETA, eIDAS SES (EU), and PIPEDA (Canada).

What it isn't

Not a CRM. Not a contract-negotiation workbench. Not a workflow automation platform with 200 integrations. We picked four things and built them well: build forms, collect signatures, route multi-party envelopes, and generate a defensible PDF. If you need a contract-redline timeline with version diffs, you still want a bigger tool. For everything else this end of the market does well, Sign Sail does too, at a fraction of the price.

Principles we ship by

Compliance at every tier. The same ESIGN-grade audit trail ships on Free that ships on Business. We don't gatekeep defensibility behind a paywall.

Your data leaves when you say so. One-click export as CSV, Excel, or PDF on Pro and Business. No vendor lock-in.

Price that makes sense. The cheapest big-name e-signature plan that includes an audit trail starts at $25 a month. Ours starts at $0.

Where we are

Sign Sail is built and operated by Tangleweb Services. If you have a question, a bug, or want to argue about the best font for contract display, send us a message.
